AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER plays February 3-6, Friday, Saturday & Monday 7pm, Sunday 4pm
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure. Avatar takes us to a world beyond imagination, where a newcomer from Earth embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately fighting to save the alien world he has learned to call home. THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN plays February 10-13, Friday, Saturday & Monday 7pm, Sunday 4pm
Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, The Banshees of Inisherin follows lifelong friends Pádraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson), who find themselves at an impasse when Colm unexpectedly puts an end to their friendship. A stunned Pádraic, aided by his sister Siobhán (Kerry Condon) and troubled young islander Dominic (Barry Keoghan), endeavors to repair the relationship, refusing to take no for an answer. But Pádraic’s repeated efforts only strengthen his former friend’s resolve and when Colm delivers a desperate ultimatum, events swiftly escalate, with shocking consequences. A MAN CALLED OTTO plays February 17-20, Friday, Saturday & Monday 7pm, Sunday 4pm
Otto (Tom Hanks) is a grumpy isolated widower with staunch principles, strict routines and a short fuse, who gives everyone in his neighborhood a hard time as he watches over it like a hawk. Just as it seems like he’s finally given up on life, an unlikely and reluctant friendship develops with his new neighbors. Little by little, Otto undergoes a subtle transformation… but is he really capable of change? With a screenplay adapted from Fredrik Backman’s 1# New York Times Bestseller A Man Called Ove, the film stars Tom Hanks, Mariana Treviño, Rachel Keller and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
