Wizardry takes center stage

The Magic Beanstalk Players Summer Drama Camp kids will hold their “Wizardry Day” in Dame Shirley Park on Friday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is open to the public. Harry Potter fans especially should attend (and dress like your favorite character if you’re so inclined).

The drama camp students will be performing skits, dueling with wands and holding a Quidditch Tournament. There will be activities for want-to-be witches and wizards of all ages including wand making, potion making and flying key making.

You can even take the Bertie Bott’s Bean Candy Challenge for a prize, or try and “Dunk Dumbledore” in the dunk tank.
