Woman sustains injuries in Quincy collision with big rig
At approximately 9 a.m. this morning a woman who reportedly works at Oakland Camp was transported to Plumas District Hospital after her late model Jeep Wrangler collided with a semi truck pulling a dump trailer at the corner of Bradley and Main Street in downtown Quincy.
Preliminary reports indicate the Jeep was traveling northbound on Bradley adjacent to the courthouse when it hit the back set of tires on the rear end of the dump trailer as it was traveling eastbound on Main Street. The driver of the Jeep told CHP Officer James Stowe that her brakes completely failed as she approached the intersection attempting to stop .
