Field Trip: Butterfly Valley Botanical Area Bird and Plant Walk
Join PAS’s Operations Director, Liz Ramsey, at the intersection of Butterfly Valley-Twain Rd. and Highway 70 at 9:00 AM to carpool up to Butterfly Valley Botanical Area for a short and low-intensity hike through this incredible and unique Special Interest Area.
While plant diversity will be the focus of this outing, birds are also to be expected and will be pointed out throughout the hike.
Be sure to bring snacks and water, wear proper attire, and bring along your field guides, binoculars, or notebooks if desired.
