Grebe Watching
June 17
Join Plumas Audubon Society for free events every third Saturday in June, July and August to observe grebes during these community science themed field trips.
Meet at Holiday Market in Chester at 9 a.m., then caravan to various locations around the lake to observe grebes setting up nesting colonies, breeding, nest building and – hopefully – back brooding baby grebes.
