Quick Draw Event in Quincy

This Quick Draw Event (Saturday, Aug. 28) will still be happening in conjunction with the Saturday Morning Market in Quincy at Dame Shirley Park, even though it will be smoky. Artists are encouraged to set up their easels before 9AM when a blast from an air horn will start the event.

The size of the artwork is limited to 9×12 or 11×14. The artwork can either be a drawing or a painting. It will end at 11AM.

Artists will then bring their finished art to Bear Creek Frames, 367 Main Street in Quincy, where they will be framed and auctioned off on First Friday Art Walk on September 3rd. All the proceeds will go to the Plumas Crisis Center to help the Dixie Fire Survivors.

So far there are 12 artists signed up. Come down and watch Art being created.
