Attention: HVAC Retailers/Contractors
Request for Qualification: The Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District (District) has received funding for a wood stove replacement program in the Greater Portola Area (known as the Federal PM2.5 Non-Attainment Area). The District is actively seeking those HVAC retailers/contractors interested in being included on the District’s List of District-Approved Retailers for installing air source heat pumps. This program is funded by the US EPA Targeted AirShed Grant. Heat pumps are one of several options for replacing qualified wood stoves and fireplaces, along with wood, pellet, propane and kerosene stoves.
