By way of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the Indian Valley Community Services District intends to pre-qualify a limited number of professional services including Civil Engineering, Environmental and Cultural Resources, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster recovery project management and Grant writing firms.
Firms may respond to one or more categories. Multiple firms may be chosen for each category.
Category 1 – Civil Engineering services. To be chosen, the “consultant” must show experience in providing professional services for the planning, design and construction of, but not limited to, water and sewer lines, pump stations, water treatment plants, sewer lift stations. Services may include preliminary engineering, environmental services, preparation of technical reports, right of way engineering, preliminary experience and/or final construction design, and construction engineering. Firms responding to this RFQ should be fully familiar with and experienced in meeting the requirements of both State and Federal procedures pertaining to federally funded projects.
Category 2 – Environmental and Cultural Resources services – The consultant must show experience in preparation of environmental documents for Federally funded projects. Extra consideration will be given for experience related to FEMA disaster recovery.
Category 3 – FEMA Disaster Recovery Public Assistance project management. The firm must have experience managing FEMA Disaster Assistance projects. The consultant will act in an advisory role.
Category 4 – Grant Writing – Consultant must have experience in writing grant applications for California
