NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Plumas Unified School District, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District is requesting proposals, for the award of Erate contracts for the following:

Category 1: Data Transmission and/or Internet Access

Category 2: Internal Connections-Network Electronics

FY21, Form 470 #210009217

Category 2: Internal Connections-Cabling (4 sites)

Mandatory Cabling Job Walk: Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:30 AM starting at Portola High School, 155 6th Avenue, Portola, CA 96122. Participants are required to attend the job walk at all four sites.

Electronic proposals will be accepted up to but not later than, 4:00 PM PST February 8, 2021. The RFP and all addendum(s), questions and answers will be posted to the Erate EPC website at https://data.usac.org/publicreports/Forms/Form470Rfp/Index

This is a Public Works project and will require Bonds and Insurance. Prevailing wage rates must be paid and Certified Payroll Records submitted at the conclusion of the projects. This project requires the services of contractors holding a valid California C7 or C10 contractor’s license that will be current for the entire installation. Contractor must be familiar with SB854 and its requirements. This is an Erate funded project. Vendor must participate in the E-Rate Program and must provide a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Federal Registration Number (FCC-FRN) with the proposal.

This RFP is pursuant to Public Contract Codes 20118.2, 20111, and 22000.

All public works projects shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the department of industrial relations.

Pursuant to California Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 all public works contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the department of industrial relations.

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informality in any proposals received, even with SLD funding approval. In addition, the district reserves the right to deny any or all proposals associated with this RFP, even with SLD funding approval. The district reserves the right to accept the pricing proposal solely dependent upon SLD approval.
