NOTICE OF FIRST CASE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Family Law Case Management Conference has been set for December 5, 2022 at 9:00 AM to be held in the Department 2 of the Superior Court, located at 520 Main Street, Room 104, Quincy, CA 95971.
Petitioner or counsel for Petitioner is directed to serve this Notice on Respondent at the same time as service on Respondent of the Summons and Petition.
You must file with the Court and serve the other party with a completed Family Law Case Management Conference Statement at least 10 days before the Conference.
You must be familiar with the case and be fully prepared to participate effectively in the Case Management Conference. At the Case Management Conference, the Court may make pretrial orders, including:
An order establishing a discovery schedule
An order referring the case to Mediation/Investigative Evaluation
An order requiring the filing of further documents
An order setting the case for mandatory settlement conference/trial
An order dismissing the action in whole or in part or imposing sanctions
An order requiring counsel or parties to engage in and report back on a meet and confer discussion
An order continuing the case for further Case Management
Telephonic court appearances may be allowed with the approval of the judicial officer. A written request must be submitted to the court at least 5 days prior to the Case Management Conference.
THE COURT DOES NOT PROVIDE COURT REPORTER SERVICES IN CIVIL CASES. PARTIES MUST PROVIDE A COURT REPORTER IF THEY WANT A VERBATIM RECORD
