SUMMARY OF CHANGES MADE TO TITLE 2 OF
THE LASSEN COUNTY CODE
VOTED ON BY THE LASSEN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ON OCTOBER 18,2016
An ordinance was voted on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, by the Lassen County Board of Supervisors which amended Title 2 of the Lassen County Code. Specifically, the ordinance amends Title 2 of the Lassen County Code in the following ways:
- It severed the consolidated offices of district attorney and public administrator and allows the current district attorney to resign the position of public administrator without also resigning the position of district attorney; and
- It allows for the office of public administrator to be filled by appointment rather than election: and
- It consolidates the offices of public administrator and public guardian; and
- It defines the method of appointment, supervision, and termination of the consolidated office of public administrator/public guardian; and
- It defines the duties and method of compensation of the office of public administrator/public guardian; and
- It repealed, as duplicative to other code provisions, sections 2.09.030,2.09.040, and 2.09.050.

The County of Lassen is now accepting proposals (RFP) for the preparation of the 20 16 Regional Transportation Plan to be adopted by the Lassen County Transportation Commission. This project is located within Lassen County.
