Community members and visitors from far and wide will join together Saturday on Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. for the 20th annual Taylorsville Lights Parade and festivities. This event has support from the entire community of Taylorsville and surrounding area. The popular chili Wolf Creek 4H Club fundraiser Chili Dinner will also be part of the festivities. Chili, salad and cornbread will be served for $10 beginning at 4 p.m. in the Taylorsville Tavern.
Decorated floats will parade through the town starting at the Indian Valley Museum. The parade begins at 6 p.m. Be sure to get your entry form submitted if you wish to enter a float in the parade. Time is running out to submit your application.
Trophy awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners at the end of the parade. Be sure to stay for the award ceremony.
Local businesses will be open into the evening and all are welcome to stay longer after the parade at the Taylorsville Tavern.
The Taylorsville Lights Parade will be hosting the Wolf Creek 4H Club fundraiser Chili Dinner inside the Taylorsville Tavern. The dinner begins promptly at 4 p.m. It is a popular event so be sure to come early to get a table at this fun dinner event. Also the 4H club will have a bake sale and arts and craft gifts will be sold outside of the tavern. Homemade cookies and coffee will be ready for all visitors before and during the parade.
