Airport proposal for Quincy woman to be featured on Today Show on July 18

Those who watch the third hour of the Today Show on NBC on Tuesday, July 18, might see a familiar face. Quincy’s own Nancy Gambell and her fiancée, Dr. Thomas McMeekin, a former high school classmate, will be featured. The segment is titled “A man proposes to a woman in an airport 60 years after they met in high school.”

The pair have already gained some notoriety after being the subject of a Florida television station new segment when his proposal at the Tampa International Airport was captured on film.
