Anna S. Thomas

Anna S. Thomas, 83, of Sidney passed away, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Chase Memorial Nursing Home, New Berlin, NY, following a long illness.

Anna was born on November 27, 1938 in Central City, KY; the daughter of the late Robert E. and Earline R. (Vincent) Daw. Anna first married Gerald Clark (the father of her children) and later to Gerald Thomas. She lived in Yuba City and Portola, CA for many years, moving to Sidney about 6 years ago to be closer to her daughters and their families.

She was a member of the Yuba City Moose Club. Anna worked as a home health caregiver for many years. Anna enjoyed bowling, ice cream and spending time with family. She also enjoyed spending time and traveling with her late sister Gail.

Anna is survived by her loving family, her daughters, Joyce (Chris) Curtin of Sidney Center, NY and Rebecca (Alfred) Murphy of Rodman, NY; grandchildren, Peter (Tammy) Green, Emilee (Kris) Lander, Nathan Curtin(Ashley Husson); Megan Murphy (Kyle Anderson), Kaitlyn (Andrew) McNitt, great-grandchildren, Donovan, Brinlee, Charlie, Maev, Sierra, Nate and Aubrie; nephew and family, Timmy (Misty) Massey; sister in law, Jana Daw of Portola, Ca.; longtime caregiver and friend, Lisa Peck; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded by her son, Robert Clark, brother, Bill Daw, sister, Gail Massey, and 2 husbands, Gerald Clark and Gerald Thomas. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
