Annual courthouse sing won’t go forward this year
The popular courthouse sing will be canceled again this year.
“It is with regret that Soroptimists International of Quincy will postpone the Courthouse Sing for another year,” spokeswoman Terry Gallagher announced Nov. 23. “After speaking with officials in the Health Department and realizing the possibility of a ‘super spreader’ and the necessity of several limitations regarding COVID-19, we have made this decision. We will continue our work in the county to help women thrive and pursue education through our varying programs and scholarships. This includes our See’s Candy and nuts drive through the holidays. We ask you to join us in this task. We wish all Happy Holidays.”
