The Plumas HeartSAFE community partnered with Riccardo Jacobus, owner of The Drunk Brush Wine Bar, to place a publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in his business. The Drunk Brush is a popular gathering place and is ideal for placement of an AED.
Bystander CPR and the use of an AED can improve survival of cardiac arrest by 30 percent and is a vital part of the HeartSAFE Community efforts.
