Arden Alquist Alexander

Arden Alquist Alexander, 81, of Quincy, California passed away on August 20, 2022.

She passed in the presence and holding the hand of one of Mom’s spiritual daughters, our dear friend from school.

Arden was born on April 16, 1941 to Russel and Florence (Ware) Alquist In Atlantic City, New Jersey. After Arden graduated from Massapequa High in Long Island, New York, she went on to marry her first love from high school with whom she had three children, Eve Sanchez, Jason Klingel and Kelly Schick. During this time she taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray’s.

In 1968 after relocating to Southern California where her mother had relocated to, she met Thomas Alexander. Thomas and Arden went on to have three children, Jennifer Miller, Jamie Alexander and Jessica Hershey.

Arden, a.k.a Mimi, was someone you would remember crossing paths with because of her caring way with others, acute kindness, her generously expressed appreciation and witty humor.

Arden’s volunteer service in the community spanned over 35 years. She was known for her love and dedication to God. She shared countless hours studying the bible with people, thereby influencing change for the better in many. She lived a life steadfast to her high principles and values.

Arden was survived by 5 of her 6 children, 11 of her 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, her brother Jim Radwick, sister Katrina Radwick, niece Samantha Hale and nephew Graham Radwick. Not to mention all of her chosen spiritual children, spiritual brothers and spiritual sisters. She was deeply cherished and loved by all who knew her. She lived a selfless and conscientious life and will be missed dearly.

Her faith in life on a new earth where all loved ones will be reunited in great health and in peace again is the indelible grace-filled faith she lived by.

May our Mom, friend, sister, aunt, and grandmother be at peace. You will always be in our hearts.

Please join us in honoring Arden’s life on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 1pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1550 East Main Street, Quincy, Ca 95971. There will be a reception following the talk.
