Beckwourth Complex is now 90 percent contained
In a brief evening update for Tuesday, July 20, the Plumas National Forest reports that the Beckwourth Complex is now 90 percent contained. Firefighters continue working to contain the fireline between Forest Road 25N25Y south to the Dixie Peak area. Several rugged drainages are in this area, including Ramelli Creek, Lookout Peak, and Grigsby Creek. Suppression repair and backhaul of unneeded tools, hoses, and the like continues along contained portions of the fire.
