Board of Supervisors releases zoom access info for Feb. 9 meeting

For those clamoring for more access to the Plumas County Board of Supervisors meetings — it’s here. Beginning with the Tuesday, Feb. 9 meeting, interested individuals can watch via live stream as has been the tradition, or attend via Zoom, which allows for live interaction. The board meeting begins at 10 a.m.

This week’s agenda includes a variety of topics ranging from abating hazards at the Downtown Trailer Park in Quincy to the resignation of Probation Chief Erin Metcalf. Public Health Director Andrew Woodruff will provide an update on coronavirus and County Administrator Gabriel Hydrick will present a report on the Plumas County Museum.

During the afternoon session, the board will interview candidates for the county assessor position created by the retirement of Chuck Leonhardt. Interviews are conducted during open session because the assessor is an elected position.
