The closure signs went up this morning at Canyon Dam and Almanor West boat ramps, but they didn’t last long. Within hours, the U.S. Forest Service announced that access would be restored to the boat ramps. Sheriff Todd Johns said that he and others worked with Shane Starr, a representative for Congressman Doug LaMalfa, and the Forest Service to restore the access.
