A Veterans’ Drive up Dinner will be held Jan. 13 at the Calpine Elks Lodge on Highway 70 west of Portola. Veterans and their guests can pick up their meals from 4 to 6 p.m. All veterans or active military, widowed spouses of veterans, and one family member or caretaker in Plumas or Sierra counties are eligible. Pre-order only. Call 530-832-5785 to pre-order up to two dinners. Additional dinners cost $10 per order.
