Caltrans announces up to 1 hour delays
Caltrans has announced that motorists traveling on Highway 70 east of Quincy may experience one hour delays on the three days listed below beginning this Saturday.
Crews will be setting precast lightweight concrete girders for the Spring Garden Bridge Project. This is logistically challenging due to the lack of access to the placement location, therefore Caltrans asks the public for their patience and understanding. Caltrans anticipates delays up to 1 hour during the following dates and times:
Saturday, Aug. 18
6 a.m. through 3 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 22
6 a.m. through 3 p.m.
Delays won’t occur during school commute hours between 7 and 8 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 25
6 a.m. through 3 p.m.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email the Caltrans District 2’sPublic Information Office at (530) 225-3426 or send an email to [email protected]
Thank you for the heads-up, I’ll plan my shopping trips to town accordingly.
If I recall correctly, this project was supposed to be completed LAST year, just like the Hamilton Branch bridge.
Well, it’s NOT finished Peckerhead. Deal with it!
