Celebrating Easter at the Village Café
The Village Café at the Wildwood Senior Center in Chester is open to the public each weekday for lunch at 12 noon. The cafe offers several special lunches during the year to celebrate noted holidays. Thursday, April 14, was selected to celebrate with an Easter lunch that included baked ham with pineapple, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, ambrosia, dinner roll and a cupcake. Each place setting also had an Easter candy cup and a ticket for the door prize drawing. All this for $2.50 for seniors 60 and over. If you’re not 60 yet, it’s still only $6.
