Checking in with the CHP regarding area roads
Plumas roads fared fairly well during the most recent storm and most roadways are open this morning, March 15.
Checking in with the California High Patrol this morning, they are reporting that most roads are passable. Here are some highlights:
Hwy 89 near Clio has standing water but is not closed; signs are in place urging caution
Highway 70 near Portola is open; the river has risen but has not impacted the roadway
Highway 89 near Indian Falls is open with controlled traffic
Stampfli Lane and North Valley Road in Indian Valley have pockets of closures
Chandler Road near Oakland Camp is closed
