Chester cold and buried in snow
The Chester area schools are closed today Wednesday, Feb. 27. The power is out throughout the Almanor Basin and has been out since around midnight last night, with no ETA of when power will be restored. The Susanville office of the CHP is advising motorists to stay off the roads due to dangerous conditions.
