Chester Rotary presents scholarship
One of the highlights of the July 14 Chester Rotary dinner to honor visiting District 5190 Governor Anita Daniels took place when Immediate Past-President Terry Johnson presented a $1,000 check to 2021 Chester High Graduating Senior Morgan Smith as the successful applicant for the club’s scholastic scholarship.
Each year the Rotary Club of Chester offers a $1,000 scholarship in three different categories: Vocational, Scholastic and Continuation (for Chester grads continuing in college).
There are smiles aplenty as Smith relates her future plans to the group.
