Non-injury accident, Sept 23
At about 4 p.m., William Berner, 37, of Quincy, was stopped within the driveway of 191 Lawrence St., facing south waiting to cross onto southbound Cloman Avenue in a 2003 Volvo. Rebecca Dominguez, 41, also of Quincy, was driving a 2012 Honda northbound on Cloman Street and stopped at the stop sign located at the intersection with Lawrence Street directly across from Berner.
Berner began to cross the intersection. Dominguez failed to look to her left as she entered the intersection and began to make a left hand turn onto westbound Lawrence Street. The front of the Honda struck the left side of the Volvo within the intersection of Lawrence Street and Cloman Avenue.
Both vehicles were traveling under 10 mph. Following the collision, both cars were moved to the west shoulder of Cloman Avenue, south of Lawrence Street. Both drivers waited for CHP arrival.
Both parties had been wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. No one was injured.
