Pass was driving the truck in the middle of the roadway. She claims that a black pickup truck was coming up the hill northbound at an estimated 20 to 30 mph. Pass swerved the Frontier to the left to avoid colliding with the other pickup and the vehicle went into a steep deep ditch causing damage to the left front of the corner of the truck. The pickup could not be driven out of the ditch and needed to be extricated with a tow truck.
The driver and her three passengers had been wearing their seat belts and no one was injured during the collision.

The Ford was propelled forward and to the right where it hit a tree on the right shoulder.
Both drivers had been wearing their seat belts and sustained minor injuries.
