Community event Thursday to thank firefighters
The Quincy community is invited to gather Thursday evening, Sept. 24, to give the firefighters, law enforcement and fire contractors a huge community THANK YOU as they come off the hill from Bucks Lake around 7 p.m.
You are invited to bring your thank you signs, American flags, or just your friendly waves and thumbs up and to line Main Street in Quincy. Please be there at 6:50 p.m. while the community waits for them to come down the hill and show them a warm Thank You from Quincy! Some will be leaving town and it’s the perfect opportunity to honor them.
