Community partners restoring the ranch house
Gumba’s Family Pizza on Bonta Street in Blairsden is hosting a fundraiser to help in the rehabilitation efforts at White Sulphur Springs Ranch and the public is invited.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 9 p.m., Gumba’s will donate 10 percent of all food purchases to the Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council (MVSC). This includes all dine in and takeout purchases.
There will be a number of prizes offered, but the main drawing prize is a Smoker Barbeque Grill. Drawing tickets will be available all day at Gumba’s on Sept. 25 and in front of the Graeagle Store and the Graeagle Frostee on Fridays and Saturdays preceding the event.
MVSC is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the ranch. Restoration of the main ranch house is scheduled to begin this fall. It has been a long and difficult process to raise the necessary funds, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Many local contractors have stepped up to donate labor and materials, but additional funding is needed to continue the project.
The community support provided by Gumba’s is much appreciated. For more information, visit WhiteSulphurSpringsRanch.com.
