Congressman meets with Republican Women
Congressman Doug LaMalfa spent a day in Plumas County last week meeting with various groups. He began his day by having lunch in Graeagle with members of the Plumas County Republican Women Federated on Aug. 27. Lunch was a casual outside affair at the home of a supporter. During the meeting he discussed accomplishments in District 1, and presented an update on what’s happening in Congress and in Washington D.C.
Later in the day he went to the Graeagle Volunteer Fire Department where he met with board members Don Clark and Jim Judd, as well as members of the local press. There he discussed bipartisan legislation that he is cosponsoring to address wildland fire issues.
From there he stopped at the Lost Sierra Chamber of Commerce to discuss challenges that business owners are facing as a result of coronavirus.
