Correction
In the Peninsula Fire Protection District story in the Feb. 26 issue, the story and photo of newly acquired boots and helmets indicated that they were purchased by the Firemen’s Association and Fire Sirens. The defibrillator unit was paid for by those two groups, but the boots and helmets were purchased with money generously donated by Collins Pine Co. through a grant fromThe Collins Companies Foundation.
