Crescent Country and Sterling Sage host 34th annual open houses

If the doors of Crescent Country and Sterling Sage aren’t open Oct. 27, have no fear — they are just temporarily closed to get ready for the big holiday open house.

This year marks the 34th annual Holiday Open House that the two businesses participate in and collaborate with each other every year.

Friday through Sunday, Nov. 1 through 3, both businesses will be open and have the stores all decked out for holiday shopping. They will be closed Oct. 27-31 to get ready for the three-day shopping event.

Along with food and beverage samples, the two shops feature an array of Christmas ornaments and decorations. It’s a rite of the season in Indian Valley to go see the beautifully decorated trees.

Sterling Sage’s hours during the open house will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days and is located at 213 Main St. in Greenville.

Crescent Country’s hours for the open house will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crescent Country is located on Highway 89 in Crescent Mills.

Sterling Sage will have a drawing for a gift basket worth $200 and Bink Huddleston will be serving up gourmet snacks.

Crescent Country’s Lisa Forcino is proud to continue the tradition her mother started. Yes, there will be English wassail samples.

Young’s Market in Taylorsville traditionally participates with a sampling of their cheeses and jams.
