Dec. 9: Plumas reports 16 new COVID cases

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced today, Dec. 9, that there are 16 new cases to report. On Monday, Dec. 6, Public Health reported 7 cases and four deaths.

There are now 72 active cases; 2,057 total cases, and 20 deaths.

The 16 cases reported today are as follows:

Two cases for the Southern Region (Quincy/Meadow Valley): One confirmed on Dec. 7 and one confirmed today, Dec. 9.

Twelve cases for the Eastern Region (Graeagle/Portola): Seven confirmed on Dec. 7; three confirmed on Dec. 8; and two confirmed today, Dec. 9.

One case for the Western Region (Chester/Lake Almanor): Confirmed on Dec. 7.

One case for the Northern Region (Greenville/Indian Valley): Confirmed today, Dec. 9.
