Decorate a snowflake, receive a free book

The Plumas County library is asking patrons to decorate a snowflake, return it to the library (during open hours) and receive a free book.

The giveaway will be held at each branch through Dec. 30. The theme is “Books are unique just like Snowflakes.”  Patrons can demonstrate how unique they are with their designed snowflake, which will be displayed in the library windows. The windows are already filling up with colorful snowflakes.

There is no age limit on participation, but the books are geared toward infant to 18-year-olds. One book per patron per day. You can pick up a blank snowflake at any branch or print them at  www.plumascounty.us/593

Just a reminder — the libraries will be closed Dec. 23-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1 for the holidays.
