District 1 candidates to appear in League forum Thursday
The League of Women Voters of Plumas County made history for itself Monday evening, Sept. 28, when it held its first virtual election forum for District 2 supervisorial candidates. The group is poised to do it again.
The League will hold a virtual forum for District 1 Supervisor (Portola/Eastern Plumas) Thursday evening, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. Attendees will be able to log on or call in to see Sierra Valley rancher Dwight Ceresola and Bill Powers, a retired educator and current Portola City Councilman, answer questions posed by a moderator.
The forum will be posted on YouTube and Facebook following the event.
For those who want to view the event live, they must register in advance using the links in the flyer below.
For those who don’t have the ability to register for the forum, they can call in and listen to the event. Individuals should dial 1 669 900 6833. They will be asked for a meeting ID and can input 924 7128 8311. The passcode is then 939395.
