EMR graduates

Students from the Emergency Medical Responder class recently completed 40 hours of didactic training as well as two skills days over the course of six weeks. There are now four members of the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, two members of Meadow Valley Fire, seven members from Quincy Fire, seven members of Indian Valley Fire, one member of Long Valley Fire, and one member of Plumas Eureka Fire eligible to receive their EMR certification from NorCal EMS. The vast majority of responses from local volunteer fire departments are medical in nature and having these new EMRs is a huge help. Photo submitted
