EPHC names new chief executive officer
Doug McCoy, currently Market CEO at Kindred Healthcare in Seattle, Washington, has accepted an offer to become the new CEO at Eastern Plumas Health Care beginning May 11. Photo submittedAt a special meeting held Thursday, March 19, the Eastern Plumas Health Care Board of Directors offered Doug McCoy the position of Chief Executive Officer at Eastern Plumas Health Care.
McCoy accepted the offer and plans to be working in his position on May 11, 2020. McCoy will be coming to Eastern Plumas Health Care from Kindred Healthcare in Seattle, Washington, where he has served as Market CEO since 2013.
McCoy has 24 years of multi-facility hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) management experience in 10 different states, with his background covering a broad spectrum including clinical, management development, and human resources.
He grew up and went to college in Reno, and has also lived in Susanville, where his parents currently reside.
McCoy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from University of Nevada and spent time as the President of the Nevada Health Care Association in 1995 and 1996.
