Feb. 1: Both PUSD and FRC report waning COVID numbers
After yesterday’s 23 cases, Plumas Unified School District is reporting only four new cases today, Feb. 1. Feather River College reported two student cases yesterday, but zero for today, even though 33 students and 12 staff members were tested.
The new cases reported today by PUSD are broken down as follows:
- Greenville Elementary School -1 case
- Quincy Elementary School Pioneer campus – 1 case
- Quincy High School – 1 case
- District Office – 1 case
The Plumas County Public Health Agency is conducting the contact tracing and investigation in conjunction with district nursing staff. Impacted staff will be contacted by Public Health or by PUSD.
