Fire response includes air attack
Reader Sherrie Eckels submitted this photo of a plane dropping fire retardant on the fire located in the Holland Drive area off of North Valley Road in Greenville this afternoon, June 13. A combination of air and ground attack appears to have brought the fire quickly under control. Area residents are reporting seeing very little smoke in the vicinity.
