Update on fire off Cracker Jack Road near Portola
Update 2:45 p.m., June 5: According to the Forest Service, the fire is at about one-third of an acre and should be out in 30 minutes.
There are reports of an escaped burn pile off of Cracker Jack Road near the Ironhorse subdivision outside of Portola. Ground crews and air attack are responding. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
