FRC announces classes canceled for Wednesday, Sept. 9

FRC announced that due to the ongoing PG&E public safety power shutoff, classes will be canceled for a second day, tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 9. If the power outage and closure continues, a notice will be sent out Wednesday evening with an update about Thursday’s classes.

President Kevin Trutna said that students are coping with the power outage and a comfort station has been established on campus for students to charge their cell phones. Resident assistants checked on students in their dorm rooms. Additionally, Chef Sean Conry is providing a daily meal to all FRC students, whether they reside on the dorms or are off campus. .
