FRC rodeo aids cancer support group
The Plumas County Women’s Cancer Support Group provides support for women survivors living with cancer.
Members include women who are newly diagnosed and currently in treatment as well as members who are in remission.
The group appreciates the Feather River College Rodeo Team and Coach Riley York for making a very generous donation to the organization.
For several years York and his team have made contributions that have benefited the group’s members in many ways.
The FRC Women’s softball team was acknowledged for their help in the donation.
The Support Group meets the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Room of Our Savior Lutheran Church, 298 East High St.
