Free car seat checkups
Is your child in the right car seat? Is it properly installed? Know for sure by attending a free event Tuesday, June 6, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Plumas Motor Supply at 85 West Main St. in Quincy. The event is sponsored by the California Highway Patrol, Plumas County Public Health Agency, and REMSA (the local ambulance service provider). Bring your car, your child and your car seat and a certified child passenger safety technician will evaluate the car seat.
