Fundraiser this Saturday features specially brewed beer

This weekend the public has the opportunity to support three local organizations that suffered damage or were destroyed in the downtown Quincy fire this summer, by buying some beer.

Trail Or Fire is a collaborative fundraising beer brewed by Quintopia Brewing Co and Fifty Fifty Brewing of Truckee. The beer was made and packaged entirely through donated ingredients, materials and use of brewing facilities. All proceeds from sales of these cans will be shared between the Plumas Crisis Intervention Resource Center (PCIRC), the West End Theatre, and Quintopia.

Quintopia is hosting a fundraising event this Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon to 5 p.m. under the their tents outside the Quintopia Brewing Co Taproom. Live music will be provided by Liam Kyle Cahill. Quintopia will be selling 4-packs and cases of 16 oz. cans to-go, while the patio (and now also inside seating) will be open as usual from noon to 9 p.m.
