Popping up like spring flowers across Indian Valley are local activities, and if you have been waiting for a reason to visit Indian Valley now is the time!

Kicking off festivities this Friday May 5, is Indian Valley 4-H with their Cinco De Mayo Taco Dinner at the Taylorsville Rodeo Grounds from 5 p.m.-until they sell out!

Then first thing Saturday Morning, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Crescent Country will be hosting their first Saturday market of the year where local crafters and artists will be set up along Highway 89 in Crescent Mills with the perfect Mother’s Day gift for your mama, and a delicious lunch for you with High Sierra Lamb Company setting up shop for lunch. No doubt you will find an amazing antique at Crescent Country to take to the Indian Valley Museum fundraiser in Taylorsville (from 10-4, lunch11-2) where you can have an affordable appraisal on your treasure done by antique expert Erin Dewell for only $5 an item or 4 for $15.

Don’t forget to pack your resume on this little trip because the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a job fair at The Spot where there will be employers from a variety of fields including medical, dental, food industries, fire and more actively hiring. If you forgot your resume or need help building one, workshops will be available to guide you for free, and while you’re hanging out put your name in a raffle for a free lunch graciously donated by The Way Baby. If you already have plans and can’t make it this weekend don’t get down, the Indian Valley-wide Yard Sale is just around the corner May 20-21st.
