Go Fund Me established for fire victims
A Go Fund Me account has been established for victims of an East Quincy Fire.
Two individuals died and 14 people were left homeless Feb. 12, following an early morning fire that destroyed three structures in an East Quincy apartment complex at the corner of First and Main streets. The fire began in a home, and then spread to another single unit and then to a two-story building.
Nancy Foster, 69, died in the blaze and her daughter, Shelly Henderson, 48, died from her injuries after being transported to an out-of-area hospital. A Go Fund Me account has been established for this family and can be accessed here.
Both victims resided in the home where the fire began.
However, there are other individuals who were impacted by the fire — those left homeless — and if there are any efforts organized to assist them, Plumas News will publish that information as well.
