Greenhorn Creek Fire hosts meeting for prospective volunteers Dec. 12
The Greenhorn Creek Volunteer Fire Department is holding a meeting to give prospective volunteer firefighters an introduction to the department — what they do, how they operate, and what to expect — on Saturday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at 2049 Red Bluff Circle in Quincy.
This is only for residents within the Greenhorn Creek Volunteer Fire Department’s response area, which includes the communities of Greenhorn, Spring Garden and along Highway 70 between Squirrel Creek and Lee Summit. Packets including applications and other forms will be available. There will be social distancing and masks are mandatory to participate in this event.
