Highway 70 open to one-way traffic with pilot car; could close at any time
UPDATE 10:30 a.m.: The escort has been updated; it is now from the North Fork Feather River Bridge to just east of Tobin (approximately 4 miles).
Caltrans has announced that Highway 70 is open with one-way traffic control from the North Fork Feather River Bridge to 1 mile west of Tobin (approximately 3 miles). However, motorists are warned that the highway could close at any time due to fire activity.
