Hwy 89 closed to through traffic at site of earlier slide UPDATED
UPDATE: The highway has now reopened to thru-traffic for all vehicles.
Highway 89 was open to one-way traffic today due to a slide between Indian Falls and Moccasin, but it is now closed to thru-traffic.
A Plumas County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said that the roadway is closed to regular traffic, but emergency personnel can still get through the area.
